What you will learn

Review dependency build scripts blocked by pnpm and approve only the packages required for installation.

Inspect blocked dependencies first

pnpm 10 blocks unapproved dependency build scripts. List the package names, then inspect preinstall, install, and postinstall scripts in the matching repository and published tarball. Avoid bulk approval of unknown scripts just to clear the warning.

bash
pnpm ignored-builds
pnpm view <package-name> scripts dist.tarball

Approve, then validate again

After confirming the script purpose, source, and version, select only packages that genuinely require a build. Review the approval as project configuration. Run doctor after installation to check the lockfile, exact versions, Bundle order, and required environment variables.

bash
pnpm approve-builds
pnpm install
dsh-hub profile doctor --profile web
