蜗蜗 — a Sumikko Gurashi snail as a desktop pet for the DeepSeek Harness Web UI.
It crawls around the page with an 8-direction sprite sheet and a fading slime trail, eats image files dropped onto it (they land in the current session's composer), falls asleep when idle, and reacts to conversation activity.
Requires the dsh CLI (npm i -g @deepseek-ai/dsh, or a source checkout). Add the plugin to your Web profile:
dsh plugin --profile web add @windy070916-tech/dsh-client-ui-pet
Restart dsh web — new client plugins join the browser roster on restart:
dsh web
That's it: the pet appears in the bottom-right corner and starts crawling.
To remove it:
dsh plugin --profile web remove @windy070916-tech/dsh-client-ui-pet
Built against the DeepSeek Harness 0.1.0-rc.x line (dsh web from npx @deepseek-ai/dsh web). DeepSeek Harness is in developer preview — future releases may break the client-plugin APIs this package rides on; pin your dsh version if that matters to you.
The source lives in windy070916-tech/deepseek-harness under packages/client/ui-pet. Bundle edits hot-reload through the client-plugin HMR chain (pnpm --filter @windy070916-tech/dsh-client-ui-pet bundle), while roster/dependency edits need a dsh web restart. Sprite regeneration scripts (single-sprite module, OpenAI 8-direction sheet, view-label OCR) ship under scripts/ in that repository.
