DSH User Message Navigator

A Codex-style user-message navigation sidebar for DeepSeek Harness Web.

Features

  • Adds a User messages action to the active session header.
  • Opens as a floating right sidebar through the official shell.overlay slot.
  • Lists direct user prompts and admitted steering messages in conversation order.
  • Searches loaded prompts without sending their content anywhere.
  • Jumps to and briefly highlights the selected message.
  • Tracks the message nearest the current reading position.
  • Loads older history one page at a time or all remaining pages on explicit request.
  • Follows the active DSH locale and theme tokens.

Only currently visible conversation nodes are indexed. Plugin-generated context messages and compacted-away nodes are deliberately excluded.

Install

Requires DeepSeek Harness Web 0.1.1-rc.2 or a compatible later release.

npx --yes @deepseek-ai/dsh web

Restart DSH and refresh the browser after installation. The right-edge launcher is visible even before a session is selected; a non-empty session also shows User messages in its header.

Privacy

The plugin has no host route and makes no network request. Message content remains in the active browser page and is used only for the local list, search, and navigation operations.
