DSH Time Machine

Safe, local workspace checkpoints for DeepSeek Harness: save before an ambitious edit, inspect the damage, and travel back with explicit approval.

Install

npx @deepseek-ai/dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-time-machine

Restart dsh web. For local development, install the current directory instead.

Safety model

Restore is deliberately two-phase. time_machine_restore_preview is read-only and returns a short-lived, one-use token bound to the snapshot and restore mode. time_machine_restore rejects missing, expired, reused, or mismatched tokens.

merge mode restores checkpoint files while preserving newer files. exact mode also removes files created after the checkpoint.
